Can we conserve wetlands in the Columbia Plateau in the face of a changing climate? Megan, Se-Yeun, and Sonia are working collaboratively with the scientific community to map wetland hydrology across the ecoregion. With the use of various mapping technologies, the project is developing wall-to-wall data on wetland location, historical hydrologic dynamics, and projected climate change impacts on hydrologic dynamics. They are also working with managers to use these data to develop recommendations for climate-smart conservation of wetlands across the Columbia Plateau. Come learn about their work and how you can get more involved. For more details check out the proposal and project updates on the Great Northern LCC page Information: Michael Cox (206-553-1597).
